Make an INVISIBLE Folder in Windows OS [Best Trick]


Usually you hide folders by Right-clicking and selecting Hidden, but you can see this folder selected “Show hidden files” in Foldr Options.
Here is way to make your folder completely invisible such that no one can see it except you.

STEPS:

  1. Rename the folder and hold ALT key and press 0143 on Numeric Keypad.
  2. After this name of the folder is not visible and it has no name.
  3. Now, Right-click on folder and go to Properties > Customize > Change Icon.
  4. In 12th column (or may be other), you can see the icon without image, choose this icon and click OK.
Now name and icon of your folder are not visible which makes it completely invisible. Although it’s invisible but it would be highlighted when you drag mouse to it.

For Laptops, hold ALT key and fn key and then press 0143.
