Make Dual Audio or Change Audio of a Video Using Avidemux


Avidemux is a widely used free video editing tool because it supports many video formats and it is easy to use.
Using this you can add or replace audio of your video with EXTERNAL audio file.

STEPS:


 For Making Dual Audio
  1. Open your video in Avidemux and on tabs, click Audio > Secondary Track
  2. Select Audio Source as External mp3 and click Open and then browse for External mp3 file on your PC and click Open.
  3. [IMPOTANT] Now on tabs click Video > Frame Rate and type frame rate exactly equal to the frame rate of your video and click OK.
  4. Now click on File > SaveSave Video. Remember to name it correctly. If it was AVI video file then save as “VIDEO.AVI” and click Save.

For Changing Audio

There is only Difference in Step 2 and all other steps are same:

2. On Tabs click on AudioMain Track, choose Audio source as External MP3 and browse for your mp3 file and click Open.

NOTE:
  1. You can also select external audio as AC3 or WAV in case your audio is not an mp3.
  2. To see frame rate of your video use application Mediainfo or open it in QuickTime and then do command+i.
