How to improve audio quality in windows movie maker to upload video on YouTube

If you are fed up using windows movie maker due to its bad audio quality for uploading videos on YouTube, here is your solution.
Use Avidemux to replace the audio of your video with EXTERNAL audio file (mp3/wav). Avidemux is a free video editing tool, download if you don’t have this.
If you want to convert a video file, then first convert it to mp3 by any means you can get high quality mp3 audio from it.

STEPS:

  1.  Make your video as usually you do with windows movie maker using pictures etc and publish on your computer.
  2. Open your video in Avidemux.
  3. In toolbar click on Audio, click Main Track, choose Audio source as External MP3 and browse for your mp3 file and click OK.
  4. Now click on File, click save, click Save Video. Remember to name it correctly.
  5. If it was WMV video file then save as “NAME.WMV”
Now your video with HD audio is ready to be uploaded on YouTube.
